Key benefits

  • GH raised for 6+ days per dose
  • IGF-1 up 1.5 to 3 times
  • Albumin binding extends half-life
  • Restored growth in mice

CJC-1295 is a member of the GHRH analogue family of peptides and consists of a sequence derived from hGRF(1-29). The addition of a DAC group allows for prolonged exposure by binding to albumin compared to native GHRH.

That longer exposure is what makes CJC-1295 interesting in human pharmacology. Studies have followed changes in GH and IGF-1, along with the pharmacokinetic behavior of the DAC form.

At Peptide Grading, CJC-1295 listings can be compared by material form, supplier, reported specifications, COA documentation, quantity, shipping and price per mg.

What the evidence shows

CJC-1295 (with DAC) was tested in early human trials in the mid-2000s, which showed long-lasting increases in GH and IGF-1. Clinical development was discontinued, and no later-stage trials were completed.

The constant GH stimulation it produces is different from the natural pulsing pattern, and its long-term effects are unknown.

Safety and regulatory position

Not approved · development stopped

It is not FDA-approved and is not eligible for routine pharmacy compounding. Short-term studies report flushing, headache, injection-site reactions and water retention. Raising GH and IGF-1 can reduce insulin sensitivity and raise blood sugar, and long-term effects of keeping IGF-1 elevated, including on cancer risk, are not established. Because the DAC version keeps GH raised for days, these effects may last longer than with short-acting peptides. It is prohibited in sport at all times under the WADA list (S2 peptide hormones and growth factors).

Research-grade material sold online is not an approved drug. Its identity, purity and amount can't be assumed without independent testing, so check the vendor's batch COA.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

CJC-1295 is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog available in two forms: with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) for extended half-life, and without DAC (MOD GRF 1-29) for more pulsatile release. It's one of the most established peptides for growth hormone research.
